Benjamin Newbury, who earned his associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, 鈥�23, and will earn his bachelor鈥檚 in 鈥�24, remembers what it was like when he first transferred to 91制片厂 Tech from another college.

A native Rhode Islander, Benjamin was impressed with the hands-on training, support from expert-level faculty, Career Services, accelerated program 鈥� and his Admissions Officer who helped figure out his transfer credits. 鈥淭he whole process was easy. I found a passion to make me successful for the rest of my career.鈥�
Benjamin鈥檚 decision to attend 91制片厂 has landed him three engineering internships, including Antaya Technologies, Inc. and Amgen, Inc. 鈥淚 value the investment I鈥檝e made at 91制片厂 in hands-on learning. It has definitely set me apart.鈥�
Benjamin says that one of the most rewarding experiences has been the multiple certifications he has earned through his courses 91制片厂. 鈥淗aving those on my resume serve as validation for potential employers of what I have learned to do.鈥�
After graduating with his bachelor鈥檚, Benjamin plans to continue at 91制片厂 and pursue his master鈥檚 degree in Engineering Management. 鈥淚 hope to use what I learn to ultimately be in a leadership position at an engineering firm, or to be the resident engineer at a manufacturing facility.鈥�

Ben鈥檚 favorite memory was walking across the stage at graduation with his associate degree and reflecting on everything and everyone that made it possible.
